Turkish Deputy Prime Minister who is also in Charge of Cyprus Affairs, Recep Akdağ is in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for a series of high level contacts.
Akdağ who arrived in the TRNC yesterday evening (10th April) was received by President Mustafa Akıncı at 10am this morning.
He was later received by the Speaker of Parliament Teberrüken Uluçay at 11am and Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman at 12 o’clock.
Akdağ will be meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kudret Özersay at 3:30 this afternoon and will attend a dinner in his honour, hosted by Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman.
The Turkish Deputy Prime Minister will be leaving the island at 9:30 tonight (11th April).
