From Carole King and Sue Tilt…
On a very wet 24th January 2018 (about as wet as the 31 December when the swim took place!) the Tulips Chilly Dippers met at the Fly Inn, Lapta, to find out how much money they had raised for Tulips.
The Final amount collected was a staggering 17,180.50TL … absolutely amazing.
Raziye Kocaismail President of Tulips/Help Those With Cancer Association was there in person to thank all the swimmers and present them with a silk tulip and a handmade coaster with silk flowers on.
Certificates were presented to those who were able to attend:

We would also like to thank Akpinar Patisserie & Atakara Supermarket for their bread donations!
Just to put this event into perspective the amounts raised in previous years were:
Dec 2014 = 5,453.50TL
Dec 2015 = 8,347.00TL
Dec 2016 = 9,558.50TL
Dec 2017 = 17,180.50TL – what an amazing achievement and our appreciation must also extend to all the swimmers sponsors who so generously donated their money.
