A New Year’s dinner was organized for the Girne Municipality employees. Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü, municipal councillors, muhtars, employees and some former municipal employees participated in the event.
Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü, in his speech, thanked everyone for their participation, and said “The New Year Dinner is the 
beginning of new hopes. It is very important to me that this large family, the workers, the pensioners, the members of the assembly, everyone who has gathered here today enjoys this atmosphere we have together. I would like to give my best wishes to everyone for their New Year.”
In the ceremony held at the Municipality, Güngördü celebrated the New Year with all the employees individually and said, “I wish everyone to have a peaceful New Year, health, happiness and success”.
