The Turkish Cypriots in North Cyprus celebrate the New Year rather than our traditional Christmas, although they seem to enjoy that as well, but there is no lack of glitter when it comes to street decorations and most of our superb hotels go all out to impress.
We spent an hour or so one evening driving around the local area to capture some of the wonderful Christmas/New Year lights and the photos are shown below for your enjoyment.
