Girne Municipality organized many activities for children in the play park at the Girne Open Market prior to the New Year.
Between 22nd and 25th December, at the Girne Open Market there was a special playground for children of every age group, there were a lot of fun games, movie shows, inflatable slides, moving toys, trampolines, which were all suitable for the children’s use.
A special children’s New Year party was held on 24th December at the Girne Open Market. At the event there was face painting, fun games, and shows of cute mascots. Corn and cotton candy were served and various gifts were given to the children by Father Christmas.
Güngördü: Children’s parks developed
Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü spoke at the event, saying that the children are our future and that the Municipality had organised a fun time for the children before the New Year. Nidai Güngördü stated that more than 25 children were able to play in the play park area and expressed that they have acquired many new playgrounds in the city.
Güngördü wishes that children will bring peace and happiness in the New Year.
