We have now collected all the money for Pink October in aid of Tulips/Help Those With Cancer Association.
During the month of October there were numerous events held in aid of Pink Month for Tulips and one of the initiatives was Stepping Out for Tulips. This event involved walking a minimum of 10,000 steps a day for the 31 days of October and we had 50 fantastic steppers this month who managed to raise a fantastic 114,600.42 TL.
We announced the amount to our Steppers at Ezic Premier last night and Mrs Fedaiye from the Association came along to thank everyone personally and to let us know how many cancer patients this one event alone had helped, which was 437 with their chemotherapy.
We cannot thank the steppers enough for their efforts this event provided a whole month’s money for the Association, a fantastic effort.
Now, we had collected in the Stepping money we are able to reveal how much was raised in total for all the Pink October events:
218,687.73 TL
This according to the Association is a record amount for any fundraising campaign that they have ever had taking into account, especially that this was all raised in just under 6 weeks!
We are over the moon with this achievement and we want to thank each and every person who took part in events, organised events and donated.
We think you are all amazing and we are staggered by the support and care that you all have shown to Tulips.
