Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce
As a Turkish Cypriot who values and advocates democracy, I am very pleased to announce my decision to stand for the forthcoming parliamentarian elections. My nomination is by the Republican Turkish Party ( CTP ) from the Kyrenia electorate district.
Throughout my career as a businessman, I have been devoted to my social responsibilities within the Turkish Cypriot Community. After my active involvement in the 
Turkish Cypriot Education Foundation and SOS Childrens’ Village, I served the business community as the President of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce. I worked relentlessly with our negotiation team throughout the peace talks and voiced our expectations at international platforms. My main mission is to work for the economic and social development of the Turkish Cypriot Community. During my office at the Chamber, I had the privilege of witnessing the profound cooperation extended to us by the Government as well as the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. I lobbied for the fulfillment of EU’s commitments related to the economic and social development of the Turkish Cypriot Community.
I would like to thank the Turkish Cypriot people, my family and friends, my colleagues at the Chamber with who I had the distinct honour of working with in the last four years.
