The following poem was written by a friend and Cyprus veteran, Bob Scott, to commemorate the centenary of World War 1, in July 2018.
Bob had asked cyprusscene.com if we would like to publish his poem and we felt that with the 2017 Remembrance Day events almost with us, it would be an ideal and fitting time to publish it as a tribute to those who died in two World Wars and many other conflicts throughout the world.
