The weather was beautiful, sunny, but not too hot, as approximately 50 people flocked to the Doğanköy Coffee Shop for the coffee morning organised by the ladies of the Doğanköy Community Association.
Paula Shirley told me they were delighted to have raised 1,000TL for Tulips Pink October.
There was a multitude of different knitted and hand-sewn items for sale, along with the usual splendid display of cakes, sausage rolls and doughnuts.
Sue Tilt, from the dynamic Tulips duo, partner of Carole King, came along to support us and used her indomitable skills to ensure that every single food item was sold!
