Once again the residents of Karmi and their guests organised an event in aid of Tulips for their Pink October with fantastic results!
Our thanks go to Mike and Theresa Harding for coming up with the idea and donating goods to the event, to Andrew Clarkson of the Crow’s Nest, Dorothy Wanless for her tireless efforts in selling raffle tickets, Jane Lee who stepped in to cook the food and to Janine Hutchinson.
We would also like to thank Fiona Addington for allowing John Tilley to auction a stay at her Thalassa Beach apartment, which included 2 full body massages, a meal and a bottle of wine. There were two bidders for this and Fiona very kindly decided on the night to offer two of the same prizes and consequently Colin Wanless and John Rogers both won in their bidding battle!
All in all a fabulous sum of 4,196TL was raised and on behalf of Tulips we cannot thank the Karmi residents and their guests enough for the support that they have given our Tulips Pink October because they have raised 12,372TL including the coffee morning at the beginning of the month!
