After what seems an endless long hot summer, which still continues as I write, local football returns this weekend.
The Football Federation has sensibly streamlined the format this season. There are two Leagues the “Supa League” and League 1 both consisting of 16 teams. There will be the normal automatic and play off promotion/relegation spots to play for.
I have again selected certain fixtures , in Ex Pat areas that could be of interest to football supporters. Watching Local Football is an unique experience and you will be surprised by the skill, standard and fitness of the local footballers.
