North Cyprus Events Calendar from 21st September 2017

A list of events you can look forward to in North Cyprus.  For those charity fund-raisers, venues etc. who would like to include an event in the Weekly Events Calendar, contact Chris or Margaret at cyprusscene.com.  

The Events Calendar is published every week on Thursday so please try to submit information to be included by Wednesday pm each week.

The North Cyprus Forum events calendar is now incorporated on the cyprusscene website where you can register as a member and post your own events.

Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips) will be having a Pink Month in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month … Pink Day will be 20th October …. Pink T-shirts at 17TL are now available from the Tulips Stall at Lambousa Saturday market, sizes small to XXX large.
St Andrew’s Church – Men’s Breakfast Club at Uncle Sam’s will be resuming on Tuesday 3rd October – 9am to 10.30am.

21st September – Thursday Note – Now 7pm start	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy.   Starting at 7pm you can enjoy Death at a Funeral (2007)  ….  12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn.  There are also hot dogs and nachos available…….. 22nd September – Friday	The Soulist Coffee and Music House, Alsancak – The Healers (Reggae) from 9.30pm.

25th September – Monday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services (112) will be having their 112 Quiz at Acmenya Restaurant in Alsancak with lots of quirky questions from Richard and a delicious chicken or vegetarian supper for 25TL per person.  Places need to be reserved by calling 0533 840 7834.
27th  September – Wednesday	RBL – Proms in the Park at the Wild Duck Restaurant, Lapta starting at 6pm.
27th September – Wednesday	RBL Poppy Appeal – illustrated talk and luncheon at the Courtyard, Karakum  entitled ‘The Story of the British Crown Jewels’  lunch at 12.30pm for 1pm, talk at around 1.30pm …  37tl with donation to the 2017 RBL Poppy Appeal …. To book phone Mo 0533 860 6815.

30th September – Saturday	Coffee Morning at The Crow’s Nest, Karmi, in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips) … 11am to 2pm.

24th October – Tuesday	St Andrew’s Church, Girne, will be welcoming Cantate (Portsmouth Cathedral Youth Choir) for evensong at 4.30pm and a concert at 7.30pm … At evensong there will be a dedication for the 3 solid oak choir stalls which have been commissioned by a generous benefactor, and constructed by Mark Jehan.
