Girne Municipality continues to work on improving the road traffic signs throughout the city. With the 2017-2018 Education Year commencing, work is underway to improve the road lines near to Karaoğlanoğlu Elementary School and Oğuz Veli Middle School, as well as clearing the rainwater gulleys in preparation for the arrival of autumn rains.
Güngördü: Autumn preparations are in progress
Girne Mayor, Nidai Güngördü said that the road signs of the roads were made in the areas where public schools are to be opened on Monday 18th September and that work had begun to be prepared for the rainfall during the autumn period by clearing the rainwater gulleys on the sides of the roads.
