The TFR Sunset Cruise

Social gatherings coupled with the work of North Cyprus NGO’s has no finer portrayal than that by The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR) whose group comprises around 400 members from 30 countries who share that special lifestyle that is to be found here in Northern Cyprus.
They meet weekly on a Friday in the Lapta area and also on Wednesday in the Alagadi area for a social get-together and sharing of information between members and have regular newsletters from the secretary on key information issues and the main contact and promotion is through a members only Facebook page click here and website click here.
This past week they enjoyed another get-together on Wednesday 13th September but this time sailing into the sunset under the Mediterranean sky and this is a small report about it from their Secretary, Ralph Kratzer.
“Dear members of TFR!
The sunset boat trip of our club yesterday was a complete success. 50+ participants had a wonderful night with food, drinks, chats, dance and fun. Thanks to the organizers Pamela Tschersich and Horst Gutowski. The bus service to and from the Girne harbour was also much appreciated.
Our Deputy Chairman Toon Hansen had a spontaneous performance with the brilliant band of Ed Sezener and we show the band in action in the video below.”
