North Cyprus Forum.net was created in 2009 by Nigel Watson and it soon grew to be the leading forum in North Cyprus but sadly with his death in 2014, despite dedicated support by his moderators it began to fade away.
During 2015 friends and admirers of Nigel Watson came together and using their experience in running their own websites, they decided to recreate his forum using the latest techniques and at the same time keep to his dream of running a friendly forum that shared news for the benefit of others.
Cyprusscene has been at the forefront of sharing articles into the North Cyprus Forum 
website but as the time taken to do this was a distraction from our core mission, NCF was closed down a few months ago.
We were delighted at the time to be able to import the existing forums and its members and also topics into cyprusscene so the original concept is preserved and this is now visible to a far greater audience.
Our readers will also note that we have brought into cyprusscene the North Cyprus Forum members events calendar so members can publish their local events with full details, pictures and geo-location map.
