The Anamur Municipality Conservatory Turkish Music Choir gave a concert in Ramadan Cemil Square which was organized by Girne Municipality as part of the 7th Girne Culture and Art Days ,
Music lovers who attended the open air concert spent an unforgettable night listening to a great variety of music and songs. There was a surprise when Choir Leader, Sıtkı Akay, offered his hand in marriage on stage during the evening. The concert also featured the song of Magusa Harbour.
Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü said that whilst the 7th Girne Culture and Art Days are going on, different culture and art activities were being included.
Güngördü thanked the 35 members of the sister city of Anamur, from Turkey who came to Girne and presented the festival of music to the public and everyone who was passing through the square. At the end of the concert, presentations of appreciation were made.
