North Cyprus Events Calendar from 13th July 2017

A list of events you can look forward to in North Cyprus. For those charity fund-raisers, venues etc. who would like to include an event in the Weekly Events Calendar, contact Chris or Margaret at cyprusscene.com. The Events Calendar is published every week on Thursday so please try to submit information to be included by Wednesday pm each week.

Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips) will be having a Pink Month in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month … Further details will follow when event dates are arranged.
St Andrew’s Church – Men’s Breakfast Club at Uncle Sam’s has been put on hold during the hot summer months. We will advise you when it re-starts.
13^th July – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy The First Wives Club (1996) …. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available…….. 14^th July – Friday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak will be holding a fun quiz in aid of the Turtles … 30tl to include supper with 10TL donated to the turtles …Food will be Lasagne salad with garlic bread, Quiche wedgies with salad, Jacket potato with cheese and beans and salad, Jacket potato with coronation chicken and salad .. 14^th July – Friday	The Soulist Coffee and Music House, Alsancak will be featuring The Soulist House Band with Ed Sezener, Soul and Rock, starting at 9.30pm.
19^th July – Wednesday	The Soulist Coffee and Music House, Alsancak will be featuring Alper Cengiz and Friends playing Blues from 9.30pm
19^th/20^th July –Wednesday/Thursday	Dawn Vigil at Escape Beach starting at 9.30pm on the 19^th … there will be a concert by Rafet El Roman – The Bursa Municipality Mehter group will also be performing … Following the concert the traditional torch light procession will take place to the beach to commemorate the Turkish soldiers who landed on the 20^th July.
21^st July – Friday	The Soulist Coffee and Music House, Alsancak will be featuring The Great Flood playing Blues, starting at 9.30pm.
23^rd July – Sunday	Blakes Lounge Bar and Bistro, Alsancak will be having a Reggae BBQ Party from 4pm until 10pm … It is advisable to book – telephone 0548 839 4007
26^th July – Wednesday	Blakes Lounge Bar and Bistro, Alsancak will be having a summer clothes party with bargains directly from UK and Sri Lanka … Starts at 12.30pm onwards … lunch specials will be available with tea, coffee, home-made cakes, wines and chilled Prosecco.
