Tulips
On 28th June 2017, Blakes Lounge Bar and Bistro (Alsancak) held an “Alternative” Quiz with all proceeds to Tulips/HTWCA.
This was something new for Tulips and all the guests at Blakes, however, the evening proved to be fun with “quizzers” asking when the next event would be!
In addition to raising money via the quiz, Blakes very generously donated 10TL from every meal enabling the grand total for the night to be 1,034TL!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Blakes Lounge Bar & Bistro and to the two quiz masters of the night, Laurence Floyd and Steve Collard.
We also have to thank all those that attended especially as no-one of knew what an “alternative” quiz was going to entail, but were all willing to support Tulips.
Auriana Stevens
Auriana is a staunch supporter of Tulips/HTWCA, often providing us with raffle prizes from her ceramic crafts and arts and also donating a percentage of her takings to us.
For July only, Auriana will be running her stall (newly named Kids Spot) at the Saturday Lambousa Market, but with a difference. All goods sold will be aimed at children. These will include money boxes, skulls, gators, princesses, super hero tiles and wall plaques etc etc.
From the sale of each item 5TL will be donated to Tulips!
So, if you are looking for that gift that is a little bit different or are simply a collector of Super Hero, Princess, Gators etc please pop down and see what is on offer.
