Koopbank Cypriot Cup presented to Girne Mayor.
The Managers of the Turkish Ocağı Limassol presented the Koopbank Cypriot Cup to Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü, who received the Honorary Chairman of the Turkish Sports Club (TOL), Fahri Altınör, and accompanying delegation, who brought back the Koopbank Cypriot Cup in football.
TOL President, Fahri Altınör, presented the symbolic trophy to Mayor Nidai Güngördü which was achieved by winning 1-0 at Yalova in the final.
Güngördü: We will continue to contribute to sports
Girne Mayor, Nidai Güngördü, made a speech at the reception and stated that he could not attend the final game played at Yalova due to his program abroad and congratulated the TOL directors who brought Cyprus Cup to Girne during the 2016-2017 football season. Nidai Güngördü stated that they would continue to contribute to the clubs within the borders of Girne Municipality by drawing attention to young people’s leisure time and encouraging them to have an interest in football and other sports.
