Last Saturday 4th March 2017 saw a truly international flavour being added to the North Cyprus Ladies Cricket team practice at the Pia Bella ground.
The new spring season got underway with English, Turkish Cypriot, Norwegian, Romanian and Filipino players all keen to have a go although some had never actually seen a cricket game before..
Capitalising on the newcomers enthusiasm, Val Maskell demonstrated the art of bowling so they would be eager to get on with the game and take a wicket or two..
