panta-top-of-page

After my Sunday lunch at Panta Restaurant, Çatalköy (Ayios Epiktitos) on 13 November 2016 have wanted to return for their Sushi.

When I arrived on Friday 6th January 2017 at about 12.15 there were no other customers HOWEVER I was warmly greeted.

After perusing the menu decided to metaphorically kill two birds with one stone!

Opted for their Friday special of Fish and Chips for 26tl (approx £6). Also, ordered a Sashimi mix for 39tl (approx £9) as a take away for this evening.

Very disappointed to see no other customers! The Fish batter was exceedingly light and obviously made in-house and the chips were home made from proper potatoes! Not the awful pretend chips seen in some places!

Having a chat with Otto, the Chef, he was telling me that his Sunday lunches are proving to be very popular (he no long has a singer as he very quickly discovered customers did NOT want a singer at lunch time, whereas they do appreciate the singers in the evenings).

Sashimi mix eaten in the evening

Sashimi mix - 7 pieces
Sashimi mix – 7 pieces

Delighted with every item, having been lucky enough to eat Sashimi in Japan in the late 1980s my memory of this very tasty food was not let down!

Next time will get a different assortment!

Please BOOK your Sunday lunches to avoid disappointment! (phone numbers at top of the article)
