On Saturday 29th October 2016, Doğanköy (Thermeia) held their first coffee morning of the winter (or should that be the cooler season).
The Doğanköy Community Association have always supported events in our delightful village, raising money over the years at our various coffee mornings etc for a variety of causes.
Today’s coffee morning held at the Doğanköy Coffee shop, with a selection of cakes, including doughnuts, available eat-in or take-away, was well attended.
As has been the case on previous occasions several customers turned up early to ensure their purchase of either doughnuts or sausage rolls etc!
The weather was a glorious 28c with sunny skies, so warm was it that there was almost a fight for seats in the shade!
Paula told me that she was delighted with the 300tl raised and that included someone buying a fairy cake for 100tl!
