Last Monday the 24th October, the Creditwest TRNC Cricket girls tried to put a big smile on when saying farewell to team mate Kelsey Ace. Captain Hale Silifkeli said “it is very sad to see her leave Cyprus, she has been not only one of our best players but is super nice as well. The sort of player every team wants”.
The Ladies had organised the special dinner at Hem Dem a traditional Cypriot restaurant in the heart of Girne.
Kelsey isn’t only known for her cricketing prowess, to many she’s the ever efficient maitre de at one of North Cyprus’ leading restaurants, Efendi.
After coming to Cyprus with her parents 10 years ago, she has decided it’s time to return to her roots in Wales, as she feels her career opportunities are far greater than here.
All the Cricket girls wish her the best of luck and look forward to hearing of her success.
