Auriana Stevens is no stranger to helping charities. With her wide range of Fanciful Creations, depicting beautiful butterflies and thoughtful and fun comments about life on her clay plaques, she has raised funds for Tulips – Help those with Cancer – KAR and Hope 4 Pets.
Auriana moved to the TRNC 11 years ago, with her husband Kevin after working as a receptionist for a number of years. They considered a number of countries and then spent the weekend in Northern Cyprus, looked around and fell in love with the island. They live in Alsancak.
Auriana started making her plaques nine years ago. She began just painting them but is now attending pottery classes so that she can complete the whole process.
Her commitment to Tulips and E.F.R.A.R. is extensive. Auriana is enthusiastic in attending every Tulips event that she can and donates 50% of all her pink and lilac plaques and 10% of other colours. She also helps to sort the clothes at the Tulip’s warehouse.
Auriana said that she is delighted to help the charity as both of Kevin’s parents died from cancer.
