Wedding Ring adjustment
Due to arthritis, my wife needed to have her wedding ring made larger as it was causing her finger to become extremely painful.
We called into a jewellers in the old town of Lefkosa, along the “green line” and not far from the pedestrian border crossing.
He tried all the well known tricks of get the ring off her finger, but to no avail. He called a friend of his who came along with some cutters and a small hacksaw. Within a few minutes the ring came off and then he proceeded to go back to his work shop to make the necessary adjustment and returned with it, in twenty minutes and popped the ring back onto my wife’s finger. You could not see the joins of the new piece and the ring was polished and looking like new. The cost of the ring adjustment, 20TL. And he supplied the coffee!!

Upholstery
We had our two three seat sofa’s re-upholstered this month by Işikdöşeme located opposite the Starling supermarket in Alsancak. The work was first class and completed on time [10 working days]. Well worth considering if you need this type of work undertaken. The cost for all his work was only 1850TL.
