Mustard – White Wine Sauce
Summertime is BBQ time. And a good barbecue meal tradtionally includes delicious sauces. Of course, nowadays you can find a wide range of prefabricated sauces in the supermarket shelves, but it’s also fun to create your own sauces. To give you readers a few suggestions, I publish a little series of quick and easy recipes for homemade barbecue sauces.
Your imagination has no limits, changing and complementing the recipes to your taste!
- 240 ml medium hot mustard
- 40 ml honey
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 40 ml white vinegar
- 60 ml dry white wine
- ground black pepper to taste
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then reduce heat and simmer the whole lot, stirring occasionally, until sauce is slightly thickened.
Season with black pepper to taste.
Goes well with grilled pork, beef or fish fillet.
