Leaders to meet again today
President Mustafa Akıncı and Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Anastasiades are meeting again today within the framework of the intensified negotiation process. The meeting will be held at the building allocated by the UN for the negotiations, in the buffer zone.
The next Leaders meeting is to take place on Friday, 29 July.
Prime Minister Özgürgün is in Ankara
Prime Minister Hüseyin Özgürgün travelled to Ankara last night upon the official invitation of Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım. Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister of Economy and Energy Sunat Atun, Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Nazım Çavuşoğlu, and Tourism and Environment Minister Fikri Ataoğlu are accompanying Prime Minister Özgürgün during his visit.
Prime Minister Özgürgün and his delegation are expected to return to the TRNC on Wednesday night, following their meetings in Ankara.
