All Beaches in TRNC are clean!
Escape beach, Alsancak
The Tourism and Environment Ministry tested sea water from 44 different points in the country, announcing that all is clear.
According to a statement made by the Ministry, bathing waters were tested for e-coli, coliform bacteria and enterococcus by the Environmental Protection Department Directorate and the State Laboratory Department’s Microbiology branch.
All beaches and bathing areas have been declared clean and safe.
The analysis that were carried out by taking the European standards as a basis revealed that the 44 test samples taken from the beaches in the Girne, Gazimağusa and Iskele regions are all clean.
