This week the visitor to The Main Event radio studio at Bayrak International is Martin Derbyshire, the RBL Kyrenia Branch organizer of the Poppy Riders who are are a group of cycling enthusiasts who are riding round the whole of Cyprus to raise funds towards 
this year’s Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
This Year the Royal British Legion in the UK are arranging this huge fund raising exercise with a Pedal To Paris which is a 4 day event from London to Paris which gives cyclists of all abilities the chance to take part in a fully supported professional cycling event which departs from Greenwich, London and finishes at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
There will also be the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 which sees over 25,000 people cycle 100 miles around London and Surrey before finishing back on The Mall in London
