Equipment for Girne Hospital

On Friday 19th February Mike and Brenda Plant had the pleasure of presenting another piece of equipment to Girne Hospital on behalf of The Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services.

The machine which slows down the patient’s blood flow whilst they undergo surgery is an item that Dr Ozan the Orthopaedic surgeon has wanted for some time and he and Dr Salih (Head of the Hospital) expressed their sincere thanks to the supporters of ‘The Friends’ whose continuing support has made this purchase possible.

Over the past seven years the monies raised have enabled £100,000 worth of equipment to be donated to the TRNC Emergency Services and Girne Hospital. Mike, Fundraising Chairman, expressed his thanks to all the supporters and helpers for their continuing support and hard work

Well done to Mike and Brenda and their band of supporters for their tireless work in helping to improve the medical services in the TRNC.
