Joining me in The Main Event studio at Bayrak International radio this week is Bill Haley and Pam Schofield talking about a project which is in aid of the Children in Need Foundation (CiNF).
Bill who lives in Çatalköy, is writing a children’s book called Joshua’s Woodland Adventures and has
teamed up with local artist Pam who is helping by creating illustrations some of which you can see below. The book will also feature some lovely pictures of Bill’s grandchildren Baby Mollie, Joshua with the little dog which is the cover picture for the book and Phoebe the fairy.
To help with the cost of publishing this book in both English and Turkish, there is to be a fund raising event on Tuesday the 1st of March, where there will be a special buffet night at the Mountain View Hotel in Karaoğlanoğlu in aid of the Children in Need Foundation charity.
The guest entertainer on the night will be the fantastic Billy J Redif, who is visiting the island for a couple of weeks, and has offered his services free of charge for this worthwhile cause.
