Joining me in The Main Event studio at Bayrak International radio this week is Phil and June Lucock who came to talk to me about the next KADS – Kyrenia Amateur Dramatic Society comedy play which will be performed at the Pia Bell Hotel on Friday and Saturday 25th and 26th March at 7pm.
With their usual venue, the Girne Municipality Theatre, still under refurbishment, Kyrenia Amateur Dramati
c Society (KADS) have decided to take their 2016 spring production on the road.
At the Pia Bella Hotel they will perform a comedy written by Phil, which is entitled “The Older They Get” and is set in the aptly named “St. Kads Home for the Elderly”, where four aged protagonists and the long suffering staff fight through a series of misunderstandings and are totally oblivious to the mayhem they cause.
June as the director has been selecting the cast and taking them through the rehearsals and will be on hand to ensure on the night that the KADS players keep you in fits of laughter.
We will also be listening to a selection of Phil and June’s favourite music on Saturday 20th February at 15.00 pm and you can reach this show wherever you are online by following the links below.
