The Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2016, in conjunction with Telsim Vodafone are once again delighted to announce the use of 4171 to raise money for the EFRAR 2016.

The Telsim Vodafone number, 4171 allows people who are on a contract phone to send a blank text, which will cost them 5TL. The money goes directly to Help Those With Cancer Association (Tulips) but for the period 3 February to 10 April 2016 the amount raised will be attributed to the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2016 and will be passed on to Tulips, along with the rest of the monies raised.

A Telsim Vodafone spokesperson said: “Telsim Vodafone will once again be running in support of cancer patients.  We are always happy to support events which create awareness about health problems in Cyprus.

We, as the Telsim family, are very happy and excited to be a part of this social responsibility event.  We appreciate the efforts of the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble Committee and we invite everyone to support this important event.”

Art Watson, Chairman of the EFRAR 2016 committee, said: “This initiative can raise so much money for Tulips and 5TL is a small sum of money when one considers the cost of cancer treatments and I am confident, with your help, we can raise a good amount. The 4171 initiative is available to Telsim Vodafone and Turkcell contract subscribers so I urge everyone to send a blank text to 4171 and donate 5TL”.

The following banks also accept donations to “Cancer Patients Aid Association” from pre-paid subscribers: Asbank, Creditwest, Iktisatbank, Koopbank, Cyprus Turkish Teachers Bank, Limasol Turkish Cooperative Bank, Sekerbank, Turkish Bank, Business Bank of Turkey, Foundations Bank, Universal Bank and the Near East Bank.
