Akçın Temizlik donates proceeds of Sales

Wonderful news from SOS Children’s Village in Lefkoşa of an initiative by Akçın Temizlik Ltd who have launched a social responsibility project to help the children by donating proceeds of sales.
Cleaning firm Akçın Temizlik Ltd. has teamed up with SOS 
Children’s Village to launch a TRNC-wide social responsibility project.
The project will be for the proceeds of sales of Viking fabric conditioner, imported to the country by Akçın, donated to SOS Children’s Village to help provide loving homes for children in need.
The project was prepared in December 2015 and continues with the promotion of the product on the shelves of markets as listed below.
About 1,000TL was collected from the sales in January and the donation was presented to the charity by Akçın Temizlik Ltd. Director Osman Akçın, on Wednesday 3rd February 2016.
During his visit, Mr Akçın signed a year-long agreement with SOS Children’s Village National Director Refika İnce, for the continuation of the project.
Under the agreement, Akçın Temizlik Ltd will also give training sessions on personal hygiene and cleaning products to the children, young people and staff at the SOS Children’s Village in Lefkoşa, SOS Youth Facility in Girne, the SOS Preschool in Lefkoşa, and the SOS Prevention of Child Abandonment and Family Strengthening Project.
The products of which the proceeds will support SOS Children’s Village are sold at:
- Lefkoşa: all branches of Belça Market, Reis Supermarket, Yaman Supermarket, Önder Shopping Centre, Erülkü Supermarket;
- Güzelyurt: Cavuş Market, Horoz Market, Doyum Market;
- Girne: Atempos Supermarket, Şah Market, Supreme Market, Ekmar Market;
- Gazimağusa: Önder Shopping Centre, Belça Supermarket.
