Cold Front hits Cyprus

The TRNC Meteorology Department has warned temperatures will plummet again starting Saturday evening with the island expected to be hit by a new cold and wet weather front.

Rain storms and even snow on lower plains are expected over the next few days as the island’s night time temperatures will fall below zero.

Daytime temperatures over the next few days on the other hand are expected to remain as low as 6-9 degrees Celsius.

Frost is expected on nights without rain.

Winds will also be strong from time to time, blowing in Northerly and Westerly direction.
