We have received good news from Phil Lucock of KADS about their 
forthcoming Spring production to be held in March at the Mountain View Hotel, Karaoğlanoğlu and the Pia Bella Hotel, Girne and their information is shown below. These events are always very popular so don’t delay in getting your invitation for one of these great venues.

With their usual venue, the Girne Municipality Theatre, still under refurbishment, Kyrenia Amateur Dramatic Society (KADS) have decided to take their 2016 spring production on the road.
This is not a totally new thing for them as they have produced very successful “Christmas Murder Mystery” events for the last two festive seasons. It was, in fact the positive reaction to these that prompted the group to “Get On The Road” as it were. A spokesman said “We must do something to maintain our momentum and to continue raising funds for our two Charities – KAR and SOS.”
KADS will also be breaking new ground, as this new production is a comedy written by one of their members, Phil Lucock, and is entitled “The Older They Get” and is set in the aptly named “St. Kads Home for the Elderly”, where four aged protagonists and the long suffering staff fight through a series of misunderstandings and are totally oblivious to the mayhem they cause.
Four productions are planned, all as “Food and Fun” evenings, with a three course meal provided along with the comedy production. The venues are “Mountain View Hotel” on Friday and Saturday 18th and 19th March and the Pia Bella Hotel” on Friday and Saturday 25th and 26th March at 7pm, both of which are well known as strong supporters of local groups and charities. Invitations are 60TL each for a 3 course meal and the play and are available at Lambousa Saturday market and The Food Lodge in Girne.
