We have received news from the Dogankoy Community Association of an event to be held on Saturday 28th November, starting at 10am at the Muhtarlik in the village when it is hoped to raise funds to help the people of Tijuana, Mexico. Local resident Michael Pickworth will be travelling to Tijuana as he did 
in 2011 to help the needy people of Tijuana.

Paula of the Dogankoy Community Association 
has told us that the event will be a cake sale and there will be refreshments on sale and pieces of cake or whole cakes. The Committee would very much appreciate any contributions of cakes which can be sold for this worthy cause and any donations can be brought along on the day.
