Continuing the usual negative attitudes of the Greek Cypriot side neither benefit themselves nor the peace in the region and in Cyprus” said in the statement.

Noting that similar opinions with the Greek side were also expressed by some quarters in the TRNC, Beşparmak Think Tank Group said it was followed with sadness.

  1. The Greeks negatativity on most issues including the amazing Turkish water opportunity will ensure that there will never be a settlement certainly not in the near future. It’s very frustrating and sad.

      1. It’s like hitting your head against a brick wall, the only positive thing about it all is I would absolutely hate to lose the lira to euros .i love northern cyprus despite the fact that there is no law for the English, the planning department need to be sacked and I don’t think there can be an environmental department looking at the stinking neglected septic tanks and litter, but that aside we compromise because it’s beautiful and we bring in a lot of money to the area which they desperately need. Esentepe now have a wonderful mayor who is turning the whole area around, cleaning, improving, he should be in government advising them, wonderful man. Never met him I’m just watching what he is achieving.
