29^th September – Tuesday to Friday 2^nd October	Heidi Trautmann new book launch at the National Archive and Research Centre (Milli Arsiv), Girne at 5.30pm…. plus an exhibition which will continue until 2^nd October …. To read more about this event click here..
1^st October – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy Desert Song (1953) …. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available…. There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
2^nd October – Friday	RBL – Mediterranean Supper by the Sea at Deniz Kizi Hotel Beach Bar…7pm for 7.30pm….Tickets 60TL members and 65TL non-members … Entertainment by Christine Sayman … Please book with Lilian on 0533 831 9841.
2^nd October – Friday to 6^th October	Zeytinlik Olive Festival. 2^nd October starting with a cortege procession from Ramadan Cemil Square and ending at the Zeytinlik Square. The Festival ends with a concert by Can Cox on Tuesday 6^th October.
3^rd October – Saturday	St Andrew’s Church – Coffee Morning at The Hermitage…. 10am to 12noon….For more information contact Win Smith.
4^th October – Sunday	World Barrow Rally Championships in Ozankoy starting at 1pm…. A fun afternoon of a wheelbarrow event… Teams 5TL per person…. Prizes for winners, best decorated barrow etc… Lots of silly rules….. Proceeds to Tulips and The Masons….. 8^th October – Thursday	Gulseren Sadak piano recital at Bellapais Abbey starting at 8.30pm… This is part of the 13^th Kuzey Kibris Music Festival 1^st to 25^th October… Tickets for all performances are 30TL..
9^th October – Friday	There will be a Charity Lunch at 12.30pm at the Levant Restaurant, Karmi. The Speaker is Michael Pickworth who will give a brief talk on the work of The Casa de los Probes, Tijuana, Mexico… Followed by lunch…Cost 40TL…There will also be a Raffle.

11^th October – Sunday	Eco-Day at Buyukkonuk…. Autumn festival with many stalls of traditional foods and crafts, folk dancing and music, donkey and horse rides….10am til late…..Many children’s activities…
13^th October – Tuesday	NCCCT are back with their monthly coffee mornings and this month will be at The Lodge in Catalkoy from 10.30am to mid-day …. Entrance 10TL which includes tea/coffee and cake …. These coffee morning are always very popular and there will be the usual stalls selling a variety of items, clothes, jewellery, ceramics, greeting cards and much more.

14^th October – Wednesday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services… Afternoon Tea Talk … Jarra Brown will be launching his new book – 46 Miles…. More details to follow soon..

17^th October – Saturday	British Residents’ Society Blood Donor Day at the Dr Akcicek State Hospital, Girne….10am to 1pm….. If you are able to give blood, please try to go along..
18^th October – Sunday	Kumyali Nature Walk in aid of Ziyamet Special Needs School… Registration 9am … 20TL adults, 50TL for families of 4 … Free for children under 10 years of age … The walk is 8km through the stunning scenery of the area … There will be stalls selling local produce and handicrafts, music and a lot of fun… If you are unable to do the walk please just come along and join in the fun and help raise funds for an outside play area for the special children who attend the school in Ziyamet…. 20^th October – Tuesday	SeAngle Bar, Catalkoy…. Open Mic Night with Jamie (the Man in Black),,, This will be the last appearance of Jamie at SeAngle before he leaves the Island.

26^th, 27^th, 28^th November Thursday, Friday and Saturday	RBL present their pantomime Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves at the Chateau Lambousa Theatre… There are 300 tickets available for each performance which will be 3 evening – curtain up at 7.30pm…and 2 matinees for the children (26^th and 27^th) Curtain up at 10am….
