ASAP ALL STARS

Thoughts for the week

“FANS”

Christine

The people who come out to support me mean an awful lot.

Many become friends and remain friends for years to come. In fact I have some friends coming over next week who were supporters of mine over 8 years ago when I was performing in Turkey.

I still get messages of support from people and restaurant/bar owners in Turkey to return there as I am still missed by many. This is very touching for me that they feel this way and it means so much.

If it wasn’t for the supporters an artist would be nothing but a person with a passion for music.

Fans….

They are so important to us, we need them for support, to help us fill venues and they make us feel good when we perform, especially the ones who like dancing……and get the party started !!!

I have met some really interesting characters amongst my fans and have made some lifelong friends.

Unfortunately, we lose a few along the way, some returning to the UK for various reasons and some moving to new countries. But they are never forgotten, and I am grateful to all the people who have supported me along the way.

Thanks, you know who you are !!!

Fans….

It’s always nice to have people who come to your gigs on a regular basis.

I feel honoured when customers come up to me and say we love your songs and your style of singing, we will be back next week.

It’s very important to me that the songs I sing for people are easy listening, and nostalgic, and there are a certain few who do turn up every week to listen to me sing their favourite song.

It always puts me in high spirits when people get into my set, and I believe it makes me sing a little better for the ones who appreciate what I do.

I’m obviously not Adele but even over here in little old Cyprus I’m still a favourite to someone, and that makes me feel amazing!!

What is a fan?

I hope that anybody who listens to my act and enjoys it, could be classed as a fan. there is nothing nicer than a person coming up to you after a show and telling you how much they enjoyed it.

Last night I had a couple come to me and tell me, I have such a romantic voice but the look of a rocker. It’s not what people do, to be classed as a fan, but what they say means a lot for us artists.

A few kind words goes a long way, and makes the hard work worth it!

Fans….

Well where would any of us entertainers be without our fans, these include Family, Friends, and people who do not know us personally but enjoy our music. and come to our gigs.

I am very lucky to have fans in TRNC, Mainland Turkey, and in  the UK.

Without fans we are nothing so it is very important to stay in touch and aim to please our fans through our music. It is wise to keep in touch with our fans through gigs and social media.

Treat your fans well, they are everything!!
