For my Vox Pop show I went with my camera team a few weeks ago to meet the Cyprus Turkish French Cultural Association in Lefkosa who wCyprus Turkish French Cultural Association event (6)ere holding their music festival to co-ordinate with the Fette De La Musique Festival which is held every year on the 21st June.

The “Fête de la Musique” [“International Music Day”] is an annual music festival taking place on June 21 around the world. It was created by ex-French Minister of Culture, Jack Lang and first took place in 1982 in Paris.

Ever since, the Festival has been celebrated in more than 460 cities in 110 countries, including Germany, Italy, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Australia, Vietnam, Congo, Cameroon, Fiji, Colombia, Chile, Nepal and Japan.

In this show we talked to Gee Andre and Bilal Mertan about their group and their event and you can see the first broadcast of my Vox Pop show on  BRTHD/BRT1 Live on Tuesday 14th of July at 14.00pm,  and repeats of this show will be shown as the schedule below.
