Tulips thank Devon and all who

helped with donations

Hello readers

We were approached recently in regard to raising money for Tulips and offered a number of Venues where the Singer “Devon” would perform free of charge for Tulips.

We would like to thank Simon Burridge (Devon) for his great performances over the last couple of weeks at various venues in and around the Girne area.

All these performances were free of charge to the venues enabling us to raise money just for Tulips/HTWCA. Also special thanks go to Steve and Denise Bisson for approaching us and organising the functions for us and also making a donation of 500TL on behalf of the Phoenix Line Dancers.

We raised a grand total of 4,483.30 TL mostly via donations from people attending the events but this amount included donations from the following venues from their takings on the night:

Al Shaheen, Restaurant, Karakum 200TL
SeAngle Bar and Restaurant, Çatalköy 400TL
Punjab Restaurant, Lapta 375TL

We would like to say a huge thank you to all who so generously donated at these events and we sincerely hope they enjoyed Devon’s performances as much as we did….
