3^rd and 4^th July – Friday and Saturday	Performance of Shakespeare’s Othello at the Othello Tower, Famagusta starting at 9pm…Entry is free but capacity is 300 people so first come first served as there are no reservations…
4^th July – Saturday	SeAngle Bar, Catalkoy. Live music quiz night with Jamie (The Man in Black) starting at 8pm…5TL with 50% to the winners and 50% to a charity….This time to SOS Children’s Village…..To book a table call 0533 869 3834….
4^th July – Saturday	Children in Need Foundation – One Love Concert at the Girne Amphitheatre starting at 8pm…Legend -tribute to Bob Marley and the Wailers…Tickets 60TL available from Deli Cafe Alsancak, DVD Shop Catalkoy, Cafe George Girne, Cinemiles Girne….Tickets available at the door but advise to get there early for these.
9^th July – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy The Third Man (1949)…. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available…. There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
16^th July – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy Moulin Rouge (2001)…. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available…. 9^th September Wednesday	RBL will be holding Proms in the Park at the Wild Duck Cafe in Lapta. You can take a picnic or order a meal from Emma Elmaz the owner of the cafe and the bar will be open for drinks…. Tickets will be on sale from July at 10TL for members and 15TL for non-members at the RBL stall Lambousa Saturday market.
12^th September – Saturday	British Residents’ Society Blood Donor Day at the Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak….10am to 1pm…. If you are able to give blood, please try to go along..
16^th September – Wednesday	Children in Need – Supper Club event at The Colony…. More details to follow soon…
19^th September – Saturday	The British Residents’ Society will be holding their Summer Ball at the Merit Royal Premium in Alsancak starting at 7pm…4-course meal with local drinks (excluding tea and coffee)…Tickets 100TL for members and 130TL for non-members which will be available to members for first 2 months and then generally available…Entertainment by Dawn and Tuxedo Junction…Dress code – smart casual… For further information contact Julia Bennett – BRS Events Organiser….

8^th November – Sunday	Remembrance Service at the Old British Cemetery….More details to follow shortly…
26^th, 27^th, 28^th November – Thursday, Friday and Saturday	RBL present their pantomime Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves at the Chateau Lambousa Theatre… There are 300 tickets available for each performance which will be 3 evening and 2 matinees for the children…. Tickets are 35TL and 40TL for the Saturday performance… There will be a free drink on arrival and a raffle each evening….See our article by clicking here
