VOX POP tête-à-tête

Keith Lloyd

By Engin Dervişağa…….

On this week’s Vox Pop programme on BRT2 Live on Sunday 17th May at 13.30pm we are showing a visit I made with my ouside film crew to the home of Keith Lloyd.

Keith was born in Chester in 1941 and educated at Chester college before starting work for the Co-op cutting Engin Dervisaga and Keith Lloydbacon and delivering it on a bicycle and then when he passed his driving test he became a bread roundsman in a van.

Next came his entry into the 1st Battalion of the Welsh Guards and he was promoted to Lance Corporal and during this time he developed a passion for researching the British Forces history.

On return to civilian life he entered into marketing and then became involved with journalism and spent a great deal of his time in Fleet Street.

Retiring with his wife to Northern Cyprus in 2003 he has become well known through articles he has written in local newspapers as well as producing some first class Powerpoint displays which he has used in presentations of his research into the British Military, Animals and Reptiles and other historical subjects at charity events. Do join us for this fascinating meeting with Keith which will be repeated  again on Wednesday the 20th May at 11.00am.

I am pleased to show below a fine example of Keith’s presentations:
