Coffee Morning at the Dome Hotel

I was unable to get to the last two NCCCT coffee mornings so was determined that this month I would pull out all the stops and attend the May coffee morning at the Dome Hotel in Girne. With the weather still being a bit unpredictable it was very lucky that the sun kept shining in the morning and by mid-day when the event had come to an end, the black clouds came rolling over with thunder over the mountains.
The coffee morning was held outside at the rear of the hotel on the very spacious terrace so there was plenty of tables to sit and have coffee/tea, cake and a chat and then browse around the many stalls selling a wide range of items.
Carole and Laura were busy selling raffle tickets and later Pauline and Mehmet called the ticket numbers for some lovely prizes, and I am pleased to say I had a winning ticket.
It is always nice to attend these coffee mornings and catch up with people and especially at such a lovely venue. There were about 130 people who came to enjoy the morning and at the end of the event an amount of 2,621TL was raised for NCCCT.
The next coffee morning will be at the Malpas Hotel in Çatalköy on Tuesday 9th June starting at 10.30am.
