The TRNC citizens elected
Mustafa Akıncı as the new President
The second ballot of the TRNC Presidential elections has been held today (26th April) and the TRNC people elected Mustafa Akıncı as the new President. Voting ended at 18:00.
Census of 678 ballot boxes out of 693 throughout the TRNC has been completed. According to the unofficial results, the winner of the second ballot who received 60.38% of the votes is Mustafa Akıncı.
The other independent candidate Derviş Eroğlu received 39.62% of votes and the rate of participation in the election was 64.15%

Here comes trouble, great news, don’t think it makes any difference between both sides he will try but no light will come out of this. The south is busy looking at their gas reserves and have no plans to make a deal and will not share anything.
