Paws in the Park

An event for all animal lovers, the annual Paws in the Park KAR Dog Show and Springs Fayre will be held on Sunday 26th 
April at the Girne Wednesday Market site, starting at 10am. You might want to enter your canine member of the family or just go along and enjoy the day but whichever you choose it will be a fantastic day out.
KAR are calling all Scruffs, Ruffs, Pooches, Billy No Mates, three legged, ex-Street Dogs and KAR dogs.
There are 10 fun classes:-
Handsomest Dog
Prettiest Bitch
Golden Oldie (dog over 7 years old)
Child and Four-legged Friend (child & dog)
Dog with the Waggiest Tail
Dog in the Best Condition
Best Street Rescue
Best KAR Dog (re-homed from KAR)
Happy Families (multiple dogs living together)
Friendliest Dog
Prizes 1st to 3rd in each class to be won and there will be Rosettes 1st to 5th presented in each class.
A special prize of the ‘The Mahoney Trophy’ will go to the best KAR dog.
All class prizes have been kindly donated by Dagli Trading Ltd, Comfy Pet Centre and Selpa Trading Ltd.
Every entry will be given a tin of dog food kindly donated by Dagli Trading Ltd.
Registration opens at 9am and judging will begin at 10am.
Not only is there the Dog Show to enjoy, this is also a Spring Fayre and there will be stalls selling plants, cakes, toys & games, Jewellery, Pet products, Tombola stall, games, Pony rides and lots more.
KAR would be very grateful for any donations of cakes and savouries for their stall and also bottles of soft drinks or juices etc. for the tombola stall. If you can help with any of these or even offer your time on the day as a volunteer this would be so much appreciated but go along and enjoy the day anyway, KAR would love to see you there.
