St George’s Day at The
Courtyard, Karakum

There have already been celebrations in the TRNC for the expatriate communities of Scotland, Wales and Ireland for St Andrew, St David and St Patrick in the TRNC and now 
it is the turn of the English with St George’s Day and on the 23rd April there will be a celebration at The Courtyard in Karakum starting at 7pm.
There will be a 2-course meal for 50TL with a choice from the menu shown below and music will be provided by Gavin Simons from 8pm.
Guests are asked if possible to bring a St George flag and join in with stirring songs such as Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory 
etc. which will bring a good atmosphere to the evening.
How many people realise that 23rd April is also William Shakespeare’s birthday? This is not going to be forgotten as there will be a short excerpt from Henry V, a very rousing piece which will be enjoyed by all.
