Hey there it is the groovy historian again and this is a post about the history of the decline of the Ottoman Empire podcast with a guest historian known as jem@historygems.

We are discussing the historical context of the many causes leading up to the decline of the Ottoman Empire and the main points are as follows:Ottoman ongoing wars

Reforms and ongoing war with the east and west, weakening of the Ottoman Sultan, the policy falling apart in the imperial government, technology advancement, as well the rise of western histography and their imperialism empire. The old age empire with cultural set back of old traditions, trade problems, that were the unseen causes at the time of the 1700 and 1800 century of the decline of the Ottoman Empire, and the final years leading up to the birth of Turkey out of the founding of the ashes of the Ottoman Empire into what we call today modern Turkey.
