Lecture on the Norwegian Arctic Circle

The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR), an association with members from more than 20 different nations, invite all to a public lecture and slideshow about the Norwegian Arctic Circle on Tuesday, March 10th 2015, 5:30pm, at the Acmenya Restaurant in Alsancak.

The lecturer,  Mr. Asmund Roest, a former director of a Norwegian high school, only 500 metres away from the Russian border, will take the audience on a journey far north to a region many people would call “the end of the world”!

Discover one of the most exciting landscapes of Europe, where 4 countries border each other under the northern lights (aurora borealis) and the midnight sun. Learn something about the land of the Sami people and the reindeer.
